The mesh is only fixed at the hem and a strap allows for it to be styled in multiple ways. Consideration has been placed into how this extra layer drapes - it has several pleats. The tank is a soft wool-blend marl fabric bonded to a sportier lining. Because this is a winter item it is substantially thick. We were not prepared for the runway variant of this item - on slide two you can see a leopard print version of the tank with the same mesh overlay. @hibi_omise also recently stocked a pink iteration. Murkudis also showed a minidress version, with a bigger panel of mesh. The collection was shown at Le Trianon in Paris and styled by Barbara Baumel. Murkudis has remained extremely consistent throughout his career. Since his work with Helmut Lang he has undergone a continuous experiment with fabric, shape and colour - maintaining his architectural leanings.
